National Advocates for Pregnant Women (NAPW)- works to secure the human and civil rights, health and welfare of all women, focusing particularly on pregnant and parenting women, and those who are most vulnerable – low income women, women of color, and drug-using women.

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk. Helping Pregnant Smokers Quit is a coalition of diverse organizations that have joined forces to improve the health of this and future generations by increasing the number of pregnant smokers who quit smoking. This site includes information about the risks associated with smoking and, of course, lots of information to help you quit!

Lesbian Health Research Center (LHRC)- LHRC is located within the Institute for Health & Aging (IHA), School of Nursing, University of California, San Francisco. LHRC’s mission is to enhance clinical practice and inform policy about the health care needs of and delivery of services to lesbians, bisexual women, and transgender individuals through a program of research, postgraduate education and training, and public service.
